LOLER Inspections for Plastics Industry

You would expect to find a compressed air system with pressure vessels/air receivers on-site. For any pressure vessel in the system above 250 Bar/Litres, LOLER inspections for plastics industry ensure that the system is properly assessed, with a Written Scheme of Examination produced to comply with the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 and Statutory Certification aligned to the Written Scheme.

If the work carried out on-site generates Dust or Fumes, then COSHH Regulations will apply, necessitating the use of a Local Exhaust Ventilation Plant to control hazardous substances. This equipment requires statutory examination at specified frequencies.
